I write plays. I was born in Buenos Aires, grew up in São Paulo and graduated in Performing Arts from the University of São Paulo. I write for the stage, as in the Lyrical Composition Workshop at Theatro São Pedro, and in academic research on dramaturgy that I undertook with a Fapesp grant at USP and the Université Sorbonne Nouvelle; I write about the stage at www.citricacritica.com and reflect on the stage in projects such as Boteco Crítico and Ponto de Encontro; I write on stage in “Escrevendo na cova de alguém”, a one-to-one performance in which I write obituaries for members of the audience. This work began during an artist residency in Croatia in 2024 and has since been presented in Finland, Portugal and various venues in São Paulo. I am part of Urgia, a platform for spoken word initiatives in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, through which I participate in the production of Piquete, a weekly event to read and discuss works of drama in progress.

Writing on someone’s grave
The sole audience member is invited to answer questions about their life and death, in an intimate and relaxed conversation. Based on this conversation, the writer-performer composes a poetic obituary. The person is invited to lie down in a coffin whilst listening to the music they have chosen for their own funeral, as well as the sound of the typewriter keys. At the end, the obituary is handed to the audience, who can take it home and decide what to do with it.
