Grupo Cena 11 de Dança
THE GROUP SCENE 11 CIA. DE DANÇA develops and shares technical tools based on the relationships between body, environment, subject and object as variables of the same living system that exists while dancing. His research and training projects converge theory and practice in the understanding of dance and cross the definitions of the body, treating technology as an extension and expansion of the body itself.
I M Not Just Me
The Project intends to use devices structured in Artificial Intelligence (Natural Language Processing) and automatic learning to build a choreographic ecosystem that feeds back with dance, words, sound and images.
"Prompt" as a non-linear synthesis algorithm. A mode of remote control of the action finding points of similarity with the choreographic composition of the Cena 11 Group.
This system is powered by iconic facts about the Cena 11 Group, its cast, and ways of incorporating technology. The choreography is formulated in the contact, the creation and the deviation that these data manifest.
Thus, the way in which the data is articulated by the machine creates superimposed subjects in the same command, manifesting several simultaneous subjectivation curves.
"I'm not just me in myself" as the first procedure of "State of Nature", inaugurates the new artistic proposal of Cena 11. A practice of anti-purity, dissolving the idea of mixing to act through encounters of similarity and associations asymmetrical Behavior and language in systemic feedback where the artificial is natural.
This first procedure premiered at Sesc 24 de maio as part of the Utopia Brasileira exhibition, celebrating Darcy Ribeiro's centenary, and will have an online version at EdFringe 2023, as part of Voices from The South
Dark Matter
For the last 13 months, Cena 11 dives into "Dark Matter" through "Phantom Future", a project that is both expansion and diversion, the group's present moment. It is the way in which Grupo Cena 11 incorporates the transit between presence and telepresence since March 2020. A new body in a sort of greenhouse for another "Dark Matter". An active exile in Brazil, a country that is adrift. The practice of being in relation to change, risk, and immunity in the artistic investigation of a biopolitical body.

In this current process, new tools correlate presence, virtuality, archive, memory, and all kinds of transduction that drains from these contacts.
A continuous and multidirectional movement towards integrating text, audio, video, temporalities and spatialities, through bodies that make manifesting and crossing through the life of things possible through movement.
Dance turned instruments for transducing kinetic behaviors into bio cultural syntaxis.
In darkness, is everything swallowed?
What can't one see through distracted eyes?
Through attention in integrating one's senses, is it possible to map the blind spot of presence?
Is it possible, through the irreversible nature of life, that our bodies multiply in temporalities and spatialities in order to give continuity to the movement of being alive?
Extinction is an appearance.
Opportunity made of appearance.
Everything moves until the end.
